Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United America who was awarded gold medals at the 2012 Olympics. This meant that she was the very first American in the Olympics with the top number of medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won gold for the team event, which brought her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having been one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were also awarded at the all-around event as well as floor workouts. In the three years between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. Gold medal winner American team also won two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
